Decline in enrollment for fall 2020 and in applications for the current cycle. Are some students taking a gap until the pandemic cools down or are more people not interested in enrolling at any school?

I’m going to assume that like we have seen with ALL schools, more people have been applying to schools that are harder to get into, and fewer people applying to schools that are less selective, since the pandemic has disproportionately hit families who were more likely to attend less selective schools.
I would guess that flagship schools like Binghamton, Stonybrook probably saw the same or increased applications, but since SUNY has a large number of schools that are also mid and less selective, there may be a net decline as a result of declines there.
Be curious if someone does have the full breakout.
