Does anyone know if we are supposed to decline our offer of admission to all UC’s we’ve been admitted ( and not plan on going to) once we submit our SIR to one??? If we don’t give them a decision by May 1st, what’ll happen???

Decline the other ones out of curteousy, go to submit your "SIR" for the other UC's and click decline instead of accept.

im not positive, but i think u can only submit 1 SIR to a UC. then the others just assume you decline.

You don't have to decline any offers of admission; nothing will happen. It would just be, like someone said before, a sign of courtesy if you did.

Does it help the people appealing if, say, a bunch of people decide not to attend one school? Would it free up room? I don't want to feel like a douche holding a slot =/

^
Hmm...that's interesting. I have no idea though.

Many schools within the UC system reserve slots for accepted "appealants".
