Dedicated or privelaged?

On the Duke application where it asks for summer activities (excluding work experience), should I put all the basketball camps that I have attended?

On the one hand, I think it shows my dedication to the sport as basketball is my main EC and the topic of my essay. On the other hand, will it just show that mommy and daddy had enough money to send me away for a week to play a game?

Any comments greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think they'll see it as you being somehow over-privileged. It's not your fault that your family can afford the camps, but it's up to you how you take advantage of that. You did something you enjoy and are dedicated to, I think they'll respect that.

I agree - attending basketball camp doesn't exactly scream "privileged!"
By the way, do any of the other Duke applicants play sports?
