Deerfield Waitlist

Well, keep in mind AO’s are very smart people. This time, they would call your parents up and let them pick who they think is the most “obedient” one :/)

Wait, they would make our parents chose between the two of us?

Waitlisted at Deerfield :/

Waitlisted at deerfield for the class of 2014. I would be a repeat sophomore. I got accepted to Taft and berkshire(with a hand written personalized letter from the dean of admissions). But DA is my top school I really hope i get off!

My daughter was WL at DA and SPS, but accepted to Taft, Lawrenceville, St. George’s, Episcopal, Mercersburg and Westminster. Unfortunately, DA was her favorite. But we may be following that sage advice: “love the school that loves you!”

The other part most people forgot says “hate the school that hates you!!”
I already know how many butts I need to kick when it come game times :/)

The schools don’t hate you, they just don’t love you.

And when you’re waitlisted, they have a crush on you.

lol, swissbrit, want to trade places?

haha good one pulsar !

waitlisted at deerfield… it was one of my favorites. :(

I was waitlisted for deerfield as well. does anyone know how big their waitlist is? or how easy it is to get off of it?

I wish you all luck on getting off the wl … I was accepted, but rejected or waitlisted from my top favorites. ‘Everything happens for a reason’, and when one door opens another closes. I know how you guys are all feeling :/

waitlisted at DA too.

Repeat 11th grade…Deerfield WaitList. I feel soooo bad!!!

Wow. So many ppl waitlisted…
It’s my top choice I’m really desperate…:frowning:
It’s nearly impossible to get off waitlist. Maybe I should start thinking other choices :(

My S has also been waitlisted.
Grade 10.

Waitlisted s grade 9.

Waitlisted for grade 10… :/

my DC was also w/l for grade 10. Unfortunately, in recent history, they rarely need to turn to their waitlist. It’s better to accept that you won’t be going there next Fall and make other plans.
