Deerfield Waitlist

my parents called in yesterday & talked to an admissions officer from Deerfield. so far this year they have NOT taken a single person off the waitlist because they didnt have to with the overenrollment. you should get a letter in the mail asking if you would like to stay on anyways & if you have any other choices, its best to say no.

But don’t give up hope. Movement on the Deerfield list has been known to happen! Best of luck…

i got waitlisted at deerfield…think about it this way, there is a chance we could be classmates.

I got wait listed at deerfield for tenth grade and it is my top choice. I really loved that school and i think it would really benefit me. I am not sure what to do and how to get a spot. I am soooo sad I literally cried for about three hours last night

I would certainly let them know they’re still your top choice, and send along any new information, if you have any (awards, activities). To be honest (so you don’t get your hopes up too much), they didn’t let anyone in off the WL last year-- but in previous years they have, so you never know. So certainly let them know you’re interested, but then try to move on and find things to be excited about for the schools who accepted you. It’s great you have some choices! Good luck with everything.

W/L for 9th… I’m just glad it wasn’t a rejection

I got wait listed at Deerfield for the second year in a row.
