<p>Does anyone know of a listing or ranking of defense / security studies grad programs? I believe they primarily fall under International Relations, but I am not sure.</p>
<p>Foreign Policy Magazine ranks IR programs but outside of the military community I’ve never seen a ranked list of Security Studies programs. I can tell you the list I saw at a prominent military graduate school listed the following schools, not in any particular order:</p>
<p>Kansas State University
Naval Postgraduate School
Georgetown
Korbel School at the University of Denver
Fletcher School at Tufts University</p>

<p>pretty much all the universities listed…including Syracuse’ Maxwell School, however the MA is in Global Security (Security Studies).</p>
<p>MIT also has a Security Studies program in the dept. of Political Science.</p>
