<p>i applied to nyu for spring 2010, was accepted, but turns out i would have to defer for fall 2010.
nyu officer told me that there are no official 'deferring policy', they can only 'update' my enrollment, in which i wont be guaranteed a place.
has anyone been in this situation and know whether this would hurt my chanceS?</p>
