<p>I'm seriously considering it. One of my close friends is going to do relief work in Thailand and I'd probably join her. I've also applied for a few jobs, translator at the UN, and to intern at some American gov't offices abroad.</p>
<p>I know two people who deferred for a year to go on the Congress Bundestag program in Germany. One will be attending Princeton, and the other will be attending Davidson.</p>
<p>my advice is, if your parents approve, take a gap</a> year. you'll be glad you did. i'm on a gap year now.</p>
