<p>no...the best you can hope for in the regular round is to be waitlisted (aside from accepted, of course).</p>

<p>nope deferred means they kind of " postpone" the decision until RD. Waitlisting on the other hand , is when the committe is unsure on wt to do, and then put u on a waitlist, and as less people enroll, people from the waitlist get in. good luck</p>
