I'm deferring my admissions to another college for a year, but if in that year I decide to go somewhere else, could I decide to enroll at another college instead? It's unlikely I would do such a thing, but it's something I was just wondering.

You should read the deferral agreement you sign with your accepted college. There is language prohibiting you from applying elsewhere.

It prevents people from having it both ways and schools being used as fallbacks from people who want to continue shopping for a better fiance during the deferral year.

But could you choose to decide to withdrawal from the original college? And if so, what affect would that have when applying to a different college?
