Deferral Letter Examples

<p>What are the different kinds of deferral letters that Michigan sends out? Feel free to post your letter. Also, which ones are the supposed "good" ones and the "bad" ones? Thanks!</p>

<p>Sorry, my friend got one recently and it seemed encouraging. </p>

<p>It went something like this…this is not actual wording</p>

<p>Thank you for your interested in University of Michigan. Blah blah blah(doesn’t say ur deferred until the last sentence of the first paragraph)</p>

<p>Then it says, </p>

<p>"Although this is not the decision you may be wanting to hear there is still good news!
Send in your stuff and we’ll give you further consideration and you will hear from us again no later than Mid April!</p>

<p>This is the one I got. I don’t think it’s requiring that I send 7th semester grades, but suggesting that it will help my chances instead. Nothing changed on WA for me.</p>

<p>while this is not the answer that you were hoping to hear, it is still good news. your app. is one of a group that remains under consideration. all final admissions decisions of admit, deny, or waitlist will be made no later than mid-april 2010. </p>

<p>please refer to the website for FAQ’s about the admissions process and what to do next. strong fall semester grades may improve your status in the deferred pool of applicants. therefore, please ask your guidance counselor to forward your grades when they become available. </p>
