Hey does anyone know if they tend to accept deferred applicants more so at the very end (3rd week of April)? I guess my question is do you think if they make you wait until late April that your chances of admission increase or decrease? I realize the answer will be entirely speculation but hey thats what boards are all about..thanks

i dont know im currious too. any answers?

hm. i dont know
i got deferred in mid march, i think they might release all the deferall decisons at once on apr 15
its sort of a kick in the face for me since i got into cal

does anyone know if we can send more stuff (like awards, etc...) if we got deferred? I'm out of state and have lots of alum connections; I got deferred in march.

You could've, its kind of late now since they probably won't receive it in time and probably already made a decision.

yup, its too late to send anything, it takes 10 days to put it into your file, by then the decisions will be out...

Doubt that would've helped much anyway. Son is a two-parent legacy, in-state, deferred in late Oct., and is still waiting for a decision.

Yea, I was born in Ann Arbor, grew up there (until I was 14 years old), both parents went there and my mom worked there for about 20 years. I moved to California in 8th grade, and needless to say my parents were suprised that I didn't get in.

this is ridiculous... waiting for nearly 4-5 months for a letter and i got deferrered this is just sick!

when were you deferred king?

i was deferred on March 10th

you got deferred? you told me you got in -___-
