Hi-
I got deferred, which is fine because that's what my GC said would probably happen as people from my school, for whatever reason, don't tend to get into Yale early... But...
Here are my stats:
SAT I: 1520 (770 v/750 m)
SAT II: 780, 720, 770
GPA: 4.0 uw
Courses: 3 APs last year and 4 this year, have gotten 5's on all exams taken thus far, plus various honors math and science courses since freshman year (my school doesn't have honors language, English, or history for freshman and sophomore year)

I have a fair number of ECs, and don't really want to make you read them all... but they include a couple varsity sports (and one sport that I've been doing since I was 5), newspaper, and some other stuff

AND I'm a 5th-generation legacy. All of my dad's family went to Yale, and his grandfather taught there for about 40 years. Plus some other non-direct-lineage but still related family members went to Yale...

Based on just the stuff I've said, do you think I have a good chance of being accepted in RD?
