<p>I was deferred ED and I haven't really done anything about helping my chances in the RD round. I feel like I kinda blew it because I got sick the last week of the first semester and missed a few grades and now have a few "incompletes" on my transcript as well as a D in AP calc because my teacher added in a big test I missed as a 0. I would have had a B+ otherwise...Yeah I wasn't too happy about that, but guidance sent in a note explaining the situation. Nonetheless, things aren't looking too good for me. But, I haven't given up just yet! I want to do something to redeem myself, but I don't know what to do. I looked, but I can't find posts on the old board from the person who was deferred and then accepted. Is there anything I can do that will stick out more than a letter to the admissions committee? You can be as creative as you'd like :) Thanks for helping me out with all of this, you guys make this whole process so much easier.</p>
<p>Call and tell tufts they are f***ing bastards for deferring you in the first place. They will appreciate your bravado and honesty and will admit you.</p>
<p>Look, it's 17 March. Right now, Tufts is probably stuffing envelopes and finalizing financial aid award letters. If this were February or January, I would give you different advice - but as of now, there's not much advice to give, as the decision has been made.</p>
