any EA deferred kiddies get in RD?

I got in RD and was deferred EA.

o wow, congrats....i was deferred EA and then subsequently rejected :-

I was deferred and and I got in today.

Wow, we are so lucky to be accepted to such a great school, phishfan. For future CCers, I want to tell you guys it is such a luck of the draw. To supplement my application (post-deferral), I sent in a recommendation from an assistant principal that knows me well, my college counselor (again), and my English professor (who teaches my senior English class). I wrote an additional essay on how I would contribute to Harvard and had strong (but not amazing) mid-year grades. It is really the luck of the draw.

yay rejected too!

After I was deferred I sent Harvard a research paper I wrote on Jury Nullification. I also was called by Harvard to go to Cambridge and meet with three admissions people. I think that helped a lot. I also rewrote my essays. I still cannot believe I got in. I really do feel like the luckiest person alive (I'm sure you do too xjayz). And it does have more to do with luck than anyone wants to admit.

^ Seriously. I didn't get another interview, nor did I have any of those "Plumbie" e-mails and whatnot. I don't know what it is that got me in. I really don't. I can tell you guys what I tried to do to reverse my deferral, but other than that, I can't help much at all.

Yeah, I didn't get a Plumb e-mail and I got in! That thing made me so unhappy.

deferred and then waitlisted... wthhhhhh

deferred and rejected....

deferred --> rejected

deferred and rejected

rejected at Yale too

I feel like crap

dont worry at all sucharita....ul get into princeton!

I know the feeling... waitlisted at Duke (my safety), rejected at Yale, haven't gotten my email from Harvard yet but I was deferred EA and it's not looking good

callthecops- not a chance

If H and Y have rejected me and Penn has waitlisted me then there is absolutely NO WAY that Princeton will accept me because its pretty obvious that there's no dearth of talent to choose from

And the same goes for Stanford...

Deffered, then rejected....that's the way the die lands.

who was the gay vietnamese RSI scholar that was deferred? how did he do?

peachy, ur safety was duke?! seems like poor planning and sheer logic on your part....

lol i'm glad someone remember me! i got rejected, and yes i'm the gay vietnamese RSI scholar
