Deferred Accepted/Deferred info

Title says it all.. I'm deferred and this is my number one choice..

Curious as too your gpa, high school et, info, etc. I’m looking to apply here next year but don’t know if I’d get in or not…

3.7 W/3.6UW
1510 SAT
Lots of EC
Clubs Community service etc…

did you apply early and for what major? I have similar numbers

LMU requires deferred EA applicants to submit the mid-year report from your HS. Makes sure to get it in as soon as your GC can send it. LMU has rolling admissions, so they may be waiting to view your 7th semester grades. Although they do holistic admissions (looking at everything about a student), you may wish to review your stats in light of LMU’s admissions profile for freshmen. It seems your SAT is somewhat below the range of those accepted, but go review the graph for yourself.

Thanks for the info. I think the SAT is holding me back. EA, chemistry major.

I’d say your SAT is fairly low for LMU. My son accepted with 1920 SAT, 3.6 unweighted, tons of leadership (not just EC’s, but leadership and continuity in those EC’s). He did EA. Also, essays are subjective, as well as writing supplements, so hard to know re the impact of those. Are you from California (we are in the SF Bay Area)?

I am from SF Bay Area as well. I have leadership, did a campus visit, and in my opinion I think my supplemental essays are a huge strength, as well as my EC’S. I connected my essay with my major and EC’s.

Recevied an email regarding MyAID. If that’s helpful for anyone looking for updates.

DD was ACCEPTED today!! A lot of happiness in the house this afternoon. We hope that deferred students will still be considered for some merit aid.

Congrats!
Just wondering what’s your stats?
