<p>I'm currently applying to UC's and lac's with a high enough gpa and good ec.
If I get in and choose not to attend because I join the army, how will that affect my future chances of getting into that school?</p>
<p>or will I be automatically accepted?
or will my chances even increase since I'll be a vet.</p>

<p>I don’t know why you would be automatically accepted just because you decided to join the military. Personally, I would strongly advise against doing that. I don’t know super specific details on how the UC system works, but I’m guessing you’re transferring from a CC? Wouldn’t that just interrupt the process of your transferring? </p>
<p>There are many more reasons for which I would advise against joining the army, aside from the obvious interruption of your studies.</p>
<p>automatically accepted if I got accepted the last time I applied. So my admission just rolls over.</p>
<p>When I get back will I have to do all of my units again?
