Deferred Already?

<p>I have searched this forum and it seems to be unanimous that the credential 7th Semester Grades: Notified, means a deferral. </p>

<p>Is the true? and am I one of the first?</p>

<p>Are you saying you got the deferral letter asking for 7th semester grades?</p>

<p>If you got a letter asking for another semester of grades, then generally yes it means you roll over into the regular decisions. If you are simply posing a question you are going to get everyone all anxious so you should clarify if indeed you received some official notification.</p>

<p>Nope, my Wolverine Access account just says 7th Semester Grades: Notified. I’m not sure that this means exactly. I assumed this meant I was deferred. No letter yet.</p>

<p>Sorry I was unclear. I was reading past posts and it said that this would happen online before you got a letter.</p>

<p>I also just got the “you qualified for Early Action” email a couple of days ago.</p>

<p>From my experience two years ago, anyone who had that on their WA meant they were deferred.</p>

<p>I’m guessing you were put in the RD pool because they received your documents too late? IDK, I would call them.</p>

<p>I got this email, so I assume that is not the case:</p>

<p>"Dear __,
We are pleased to confirm that your University of Michigan freshman application is complete and will be reviewed in our Early Action program.</p>

<p>We will contact you if we need any additional information and appreciate your patience as we review your application. Your decision will be released by December 23, 2011.</p>

<p>Go Blue!"</p>

<p>I will be looking in the mail for any sort of letter. Bummer!</p>

<p>Are applications reviewed in the order recieved? My app was finished on 25ish and I don’t have the 7th semester grades thingy. Is the 7th grades thing sporadic amongst deferrals or most have it?</p>

<p>I dont have anything there… I’ve received conformation that all my docs are in etc and to expect a decision by Dec.23. (submitted my app Oct. 5ish)</p>

<p>Don’t think too much of this though. Let your decision come in December, and leave it at that. :)</p>

<p>Still haven’t gotten the “you qualify for early action” email. My creditials have been listed on WA since mid October. Is that strange?</p>

<p>It took me a while to get that letter too and I applied in september so I think your alright but Id check with them</p>
