I applied early action and got deferred so I’m freaking out now because my Mid-Year grades aren’t as good as I want them to be. It doesn’t have to do with the Marking Period grades because those are fine (maintained my GPA) but with the mid-term. For AP Lit I got a B 1st mp, an A 2nd mp, and then a C+ for the midterm :/. My school apparently does not send in an average of these scores for the mid-year report. I’m applying as a Biochemistry major but how much will this AP Lit midterm grade hurt my chances of getting in after being deferred. This is my first choice school :/.
