Apart from the mid year report and a letter to reaffirm my interest, what could I do?
Pretty sure that it was not a matter of scores…2300 and top5% should be enough…even for international applicants…? I don’t think there is a specific reason for such things(not really a big difference from rejection…), but Brown remains my first choice…so I would really want one more shot…</p>

<p>International applicants do face a special burden – you generally need to be among your entire country’s best applicants to the school to get in. It’s quite possible you will get your chance during RD, once Brown is able to see all the candidates from your country or region.</p>
<p>Do write a letter of interest (if allowed) and give them an update of things you did after the decision. Showing interest is important! :)</p>
