<p>My daughter was deffered last year. She applied in September. She had a 3.75 weighted GPA, many APs. Her ACT score was 28. She is also oos (Illinois). She sent in her mid-term grades like they asked (they were consistent with her past performance). She had a coach/ teacher write another letter of recommendation to go with her mid-terms, stressing that UW Madison was her first choice, and that if accepted, she would attend school there. They originally told her that she would hear in March, but within a week of her grades and this letter being sent, she was accepted. She just finished her first semester and loves it there.</p>
