Has anyone been rejected? Where do you check your application status? How many are still deffered and waiting do you have a good chance

hey. i was deferred and still waiting too. i hear there’s two types of deferral letter… one good and one okay… also from what i understand i hear some people hear decision by mid april. so i guess we still have a chance hopefully? good luck =)

I too am deferred and still waiting. What does that mean, two types of deferral letter, “one good and one okay”? Wouldn’t there be one good and one bad?

well apparently there were some people who were accepted with the supposively “bad” deferral letter. so i just refer to it as okay. haha
The good one is said to be the one that doesnt require the 7th semester grade and talks about how you’re in the “special group.” the okay one is the one with the requesting of 7th semester and doesnt have the word “special” =p. but yeah whichever one you may have, i think you still have potential of being accepted. i hear there are people that hear back acceptance as late as april 10th and april 15. so i guess we still have a chance hopefully?

We should be hearing back thos and next weel. I assume who do not hear back this week the school os robably deciding on whether to reject or waotlist…at least according to last year. From my understanding no one has yet to be rejected or waitlisted.

how will we get out decision?? by mail or WA

what do you mean likely good or bad letter where aer you supposed to get one i got one ages ago regarding my deferral and havent heard back since on wolverine mine jusrt has two tabs and no view decision tabl!

Referring to Rover2
Apparently the deferral letter that states “you are in the special group blah blah” is supposively the “good” deferral letter while the letter just stating send in ur 7th semester grade with no message about hearing back by mid april on denial, wait list or acceptance is the “okay” one. but again i hear people with both types have previously been accepted… so yeah…

and Sailor09:
Our decision should be received at latest by mid april. if you check WA (wolverine access), when the decision is made, there will be a link that says view decision next to credentials when you click on check application status. If the decision says congratulation! ur accepted. if the decision states, the decision has been sent on mail… unfortunately that means you’re denied or waitlisted…

hope my answers helped! Good luck to everyone! I know that some people got their acceptance decision on April 15. so continue having hope! =)

Yeah someone on cc signed into their WA and got a message stating that a decision was made and will be mailed by etc… so now I will start checking my WA daily to see if there is some sort of decision going up.

did someone write that lately^^?

I called up michigan yesterday and asked about their decisions. They said they are still giving out decisions BUT i asked how to see them she said all decisions will be mailed and on Wolverine access you will only see “your decision is made” So i have a feeling that its all rejection MOSTLY well thats what i am expecting

i dunno! everytime someone calls they give a different answer. some people have been told that there are still acceptances going out?? I really hope she was lying or something!!

Can someone post the 3 different types of Letters on here?

@yoonstar91 – thanks for posting those letters.

My D applied as of Dec 24th and has still not received or heard anything from Michigan. We called the office last week, and was told decisions are on a rolling basis and to continue to wait till mid-April when all decisions will be completed. On WA, it still does not have “View Decision” button… So all we can do is wait. My D already has admission to 2 UC schools (Davis and SB) and to other pretty good Colleges - Smith, Pomona, Amherst, Hamilton, etc… By this time, she is almost ready to decide against U Mich… if only they’ll make up their darn mind soon… arghhhh… frustrating wait…

Oh well, its U Mich’s loss… We are moving on without them. Good luck to all…

I called umich yesterday and they said all results will be out by next week. Good luck

so nothing’s coming out this week?

Next week as in by saturday the 17th? “mid-april” is just way too vague for me…

So the first letter is supposedly the “good” letter?
