Okay, I'm pretty sure I'll be deferred...I sent in my application November 18th and got an e-mail that said they started reviewing my app on the 21st that said

"Thank you for applying to the University of Michigan! We have received your web application and begun its processing. "

However, my stats are low and along with a late submission I'm pretty sure I'll get deferred since a lot of people say they only look at Stats for the most part right? My EC's are solid and good essay, but low GPA (3.6 UW) by UMich standards and low SAT scores. I'm taking ACT next saturday...if I score high can I send them in and will they reconsider my app? How does it work? And also, I got a 3.8 UW gpa for 1st quarter.
