Hey so just got deferred from the CBA school, does anyone know how likley it is that I will be accepted RD if I keep my grades up? thanks.

I was also deferred but from Arts, Media and Design. Any info/advice about chances of being accepted after deferrment would be really helpful!

Me to, I was also deferred, and I think I know why. Luckily, my senior grades are my highest ever, and I’m taking hard classes so I have no issues with my mid-term report.

anyone know? and when will regular decisions come out?? gah this is annoying.

I think they come out near March :/

i got deferred too and i agree it’s incredibly annoying! i spent all day checking ym email and now i have to wait months! i really hope i get in.

What are everyone’s stats, state residency, and college/major?

4.0 UW
25 ACT (crap)
Good EC’s, founder and president of several
Good recs I think
Strong essay
First Generation
European
Journalism major
From Oregon…yet to receive a decision, almost positive it’s gonna be a deferral, agree?

I don’t know, with that GPA I think it’d make up for the ACT score? I think. At least it should.

I hope so They called me last week to remind me about FA and in my optimistic little mind, I was hoping that was good because I cant see them CALLING everyone, right? Gah, nervous. What are your stats?

I was deferrred :(

GPA: 3.5588 weighted, my school doesn’t show unweighted

You were deferred?!? Seriously, I do NOT get this system…

I got deferred with a 3.7 UW GPA and an 1890 with great ECs and recs. Im from NY and am part hispanic.

I feel like they are deferring everyone who they WOULD accept in regular decision so that they can get a look at the regular poll before making decisions on us semi average students and accepting only the best. Rejections are people who simply dont cut it.

I hope I get in but I just dont want to have to worry about doing perfectly on my grades for ANOTHER trimester. Such a pain in the ass. wish i could just be in…

deferred seems like it just means they want more time to look at your application - maybe they didn’t get to it? but there are people with really good stats getting deferred, that they will probably end up accepting.

I’m so confused…

We will find out in April 1st, which is a big day because I will find out about other schools. Trust me it will go by fast, for now just try your best to impress.

Deferred from MA…

I really hope we all get in regular I don’t know what the stats are for acceptance after deferral but I’m really nervous because Northeastern is my top choice. If anyone has any more information about being deferred def pass it along!

I was deferred as well
