Deferred anything I can do other than send grades and ACT scores

Other than sending grades and ACT is there anything to help me get into a university after being deferred. Maybe send in a personal statement about myself or demonstrating interest in the university? Would anyone recommend this? I really dont like the wait and see approach I seem to be stuck with.

It really depends on the school. If we're talking an ivy or highly competitive school, all you can do is update with any new honors and such. At less selective schools showing interest can help. Adding recs and having your counselor call to make sure they knew it's your first choice can help.

My teacher says a follow-up letter stating your interest in the school helps. That's what I'm planning to do, anyway.
