deferred: chances RD

thanx for the advice guys. My first MP grades screwed up my midyear averages due to my sickness, however, my second MP was 5 A's and one B.

MarylandMom, I do have safeties, I was accepted to Purdue and NJIT.

just had my princeton interview. The guy was extremely impressed.

wow i know people who got into cornell ED engineering who are way way more underqualified than you........your GPA, essays, rec letters had to have been your downfall (you must have screwed up on somthing, cornell engineering is the hardest at cornell, but ur numerically virtually perfect)

i think it was my first MP grades

i just sent a supplement to all my schools. it includes a third patent disclosure for a method to make a heating system more efficient. i don't know how much that helps.

i just can't believe you got rejected from cornell with those great stats. although you have Low UW GPA and 1 ap test taken, everything else is superb.

i didn't get rejected. i was deferred. Plus the max number of APs i've seen a kid take in my school during junior year was 2. i took five this year. but thanx for the feedback

sorry, yeah, i mean deferred. but still, you're a strong applicant.

thanks kevster

btw, i applied columbia to the Fu Foundation, which has a 30% acceptance rate (MUCH higher than the college)
