Deferred Chances

Okay I know that admissions decisons are coming out in like 4 days, but...what do you think? I was deferred ED, but I have improved my application a little bit...

First of all, I qualifed for level 2 of the Michigan Math Prize competition, something only 3 people from my school ever have qualified for before. I also was student of the month and recieved recognition from my senator and improved my SAT II Math 2C from 640 to 740. Here are the rest of my stats...

29 ACT;
1910 SAT (620R/670M/620W)
4.16 GPA;
rank 4 or 5/267;
SAT IIs: 740IIC, 620USHist; 600Lit;

I had really good essays and great recommendations, one from a Cornell alum. I also have tons of ec's, many leadership positions like 2 varsity captains, girls' state, etc. In my school I have taken 9/10 APs(I didn't take spanish b/c I was a Frenchie!!) but I am taking an AP indepentent study right now. I took a class at U Mich last semester also. I applied to CAS undecided. Thanks!!

chances don't look too hot.

Everything is great except that SAT1 score . . . the math prizes are good, but why only the 670 on the math section?

I know that my test scores are low...but the thing is that I did get deferred, not rejected. I did only have a 670 on the SAT I, but I did get a 31 on the ACT. (I also took the SAT before I knew a lot of math)

Just stay away from this site for a few days until you know your decision. Anything anyone says is likely to either give you hope, which may be false hope, or criticism. I think you have a shot and hope you get in :) Best of luck

I know I know...but this site is soo addicting!!! I don't do my homework because of it!! Thanks, ACornellA
