deferred...chances???

Towson asked my S for his mid-year grades. Luckily, he did well....but what does this mean? Do you think he has a chance of being accepted???
GPA 3.7 SAT 1200 OOS
I would love to hear opinions!!!

Is his sat out of 2400 or 1600? And is his 3.7 gpa weighted or unweighted? Towson isnt a very competitive school. I would say he will get in.

towson wouldnt defer someone who got a 1200/2400, they would reject them. Im positive its out of 1600.

Towson isn’t as competetive as top notch schools (NYU, Berkley, etc.), but it is still has competetive admissions.

Its a decent school that will give you a great education.

thanks for your replies…actually S got a 1180/1600. What concerns me is the discrepancy between the math and reading score. Math was 710, while reading was 470. GPA 3.7 UW.

I hope your S gets in!

I’m not familiar with towson’s waitlist, but it’s common knowledge that few make it through the waitlist.

Also are you OOS?
