Deferred due to delay... now rejected?

I was told by an admissions officer that I was deferred due to a long delay on my application because I stupidly applied for HEOP and did not qualify. Now I'm worried about the mid-year being delayed because my school's first semester doesn't end until next Friday. It will take until near Valentine's Day for final ranks, GPAs, and letters to be finalized and sent out. Is this going to be an issue with Cornell, or can I just call up and explain this to them.

Also, the adcom said they were in a rush with my application since it was given to them on the last day of admissions; and every member liked it but they want to see my senior grades. Are these going to be ok for them?

Does this look like it will help me?

bummmmmppppp

Why would it be an issue? Your school's semester ends when it ends. Cornell is dealing with over 30,000 applications, I'm sure plenty of mid year reports will be delivered at a much later date. Don't worry.

Really? Thanks, hmm, I thought most other schools were earlier. bump, can anyone comment on the grades?

ehhh, last bump
