BC was my top choice. Although I’m not really upset or heartbroken over getting deferred (still have my fingers crossed for Villanova) I would really like to know my RD chances.

Last year a friend of my daughters was accepted to BC RD after being deferred EA. He had similar stats to you but his SAT was much lower, a 1790! He was shocked. Not sure how much this matters but he was a full pay education major. Good luck!

By the way, after the 1st semester he is very happy at BC and did very well.

The only ones who can comment on your chances for RD are the BC adcoms at the time they’re reviewing your application.

I wholeheartedly agree with bluebayou on doing whatever you can to raise your SAT CR score. Also, see what you can do to pull your grades up a bit, since more than 80% of BC’s admits are in the top 10% of their class.

Then send BC a one page update with the new (only new) information.
Good luck.

CSOM is more competitive as far as admissions goes. I would say the same - bring up the CR score and the grades if you can. That being said, I still think you have a fair shot of being admitted RD.
