Deferred EA, left things off of application

I was deferred EA from my top choice school back in December, and am now sending my letter giving an update for this year, and reaffirming that this school is my top choice. In this letter, I am including things from this year that I have done (upward trend in grades from Junior year, a couple awards, etc.). However, there were a few things that I left off of my regular application that I originally submitted, that I realized right afterward. This was my first school that I applied to, so I was in sort of a rush to get it done with so I could get it in EA, since I didn't realize until later on that this was my top choice and I wanted to apply early. In my rush, a few things were left off my application (a summer program, NHS, a couple clubs, etc.). Should I include these things in my letter? Or would that make it seem like I didn't care enough with my first application?

Thanks!
