Today I went to my mailbox and found out my decision got delayed at the University of South Carolina. USC was my safety school and I was wondering if this happened to anyone else?

AP AB Calculus
AP Physics A and B
AP Psychology
Honors Economics

SAT: 1850
ACT: 26 (27SS)
Extracurriculars are very strong too
If you go to the admissions notification thread you will see that there were others who received the same notification.
Look at admissions blog. According to that, lots of delayed students get in. My guess is that it’s a strong application year and they want to look at regular decision pool along with some of early. USC only looks at CR+M and midrange is 1130-1280. It looks like you’re solidly in the middle 50% range so you look like you’re in pretty good shape. They may be pickier if you are OOS.
