Deferred ED Chances?

<p>I know this is mostly EE right now but I wanted to see what you all think of my stats. I was deferred Early Decision, and my mom said "the 30% (that they accept) is pretty good," but I realized it really isn't!!
I'm borrowing this from the EE forum as an easy way to show everything.</p>

<p>SAT I (breakdown): 690 CR, 630 M, 680 W = 2000
ACT:
SAT II: 560 Literature, 600 US History
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): It was 3.96 before last semester, where I got all A's so it's higher now.
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): School doesn't rank
AP (place score in parenthesis): AP US History (2), AP Government (2), AP Language and Composition (4)
IB (place score in parenthesis):
Senior Year Course Load: AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Psychology, AP Literature, Fine Art
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): I've been on the Dean's Honor List every semester since I started high school. My school doesn't have awards really because I am homeschooled.
Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): 4.5 years in karate (brown belt/assistant teacher)
Job/Work Experience: I have had my own radio show since I was 6.
Volunteer/Community service: I started my own charitable foundation in 2009 to help give kids a voice in media.
Summer Activities: Karate, running the radio station I owned for 2 years, filming my own TV show every week.
Essays: Okay I think... Not the greatest.
Teacher Recommendation: Didn't see.
Counselor Rec: Didn't see.
Additional Rec:
Interview: Very informal but it went well.
Other
State (if domestic applicant): California
Country (if international applicant): USA
School Type: Homeschool program (K12/CAVA)
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Female
Income Bracket: < 30,000
Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Legacy (mother)
Reflection
Strengths: My unique experiences in radio and my dedication to my foundation and karate.
Weaknesses: My SAT scores, AP scores, my course load this year looks very light but that's because my school didn't offer any of the other classes I wanted to take.
Why you think you were deferred: Not sure really, probably my lack of lab experience and now seeing all that everyone else has done, the fact that I don't really do much! Also I had 2 B's on my "snapshot" that they saw for ED but I got them up to A's.</p>

<p>I would appreciate your feedback!</p>

<p>Have you sent Wellesley an update letter with your latest grades (like those As you got) and that reiterates your interest in the school? That’s my big advice. I think your extras look good but I think you know that your test scores are a little low for Wellesley. Not out of range low, but you can see the stats for yourself, if you haven’t already: [Admission</a> Statistics | Wellesley College - Wellesley College](<a href=“http://new.wellesley.edu/admission/knowus/admitstats]Admission”>http://new.wellesley.edu/admission/knowus/admitstats) . Anyways your scores are set, so I would just send that update letter and hope for the best.</p>

<p>Hi, yes, I have looked at those stats several times. I hoped my unique ECs would give me that advantage but now I am much less sure because people with great ECs and test scores have been rejected. I did send an update with my new grades, and links to all my different websites. I get to test for my black belt in karate on Saturday, should I send an update letter after I do or would it be too late in the process? I don’t think it would really make a difference but it might show them that I still like the school even after the excruciating waiting. (:</p>
