Deferred ED then Accepted RD?

I've been wondering.. how are the chances for those who have been deferred from UM early decision? I know ED was particularly harsh this time around, and for those who were deferred, is there a good chance of getting accepted RD? Or, is it already time to consider alternatives?

My stats:

SAT 1860
Unweighted GPA 4.0
Weighted GPA 4.7
AP's - 7 taken by the time I'm done with HS (previous test scores - 3, 4, 5)
Senior course load - College Algebra, Pre-calculus, Macro/Microeconomics AP, English Lit AP, Psych AP, Physics, Java
Extracurricular - Good amount (probably around 170+ hours of community service)
Class rank - Top 25%
Decent college essay, very good recommendations

I was deferred ED, but hopefully I'll get in RD.

Your stats are pretty good! I think you’d have a good chance of getting in regular. But just to be sure, if I were you, I’d retake my standardized tests. Try the ACT; it was so much easier for me! Good luck!
