I received the feb 5 email also. Acceptance email yesterday at 4:15pm. Still no change to my portal (still says “currently under review”). Also received an email late last night that my “FinAid” tab on the portal was updated but there are no changes I can see.
And correction to my unweighted gpa due to mistype:
Unweighted: 3.53
I was accepted to school of Lib Arts via email yesterday at 5:26 pm. Received Feb. 5th Finanical Aid email and received FA email yesterday after acceptance. But no update to FA.
Stats are so-so:
3.75 Weighted GPA all 4 years
25 ACT Composite (28 superscore)
4 AP’s
In State Catholic High School - rigorous senior year curriculum
Wrestling/Lacrosse
2 jobs
Habitat for Humanity/local food bank

I got deferred from early action and sent my full seventh semester transcript about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Does anyone know how long it will take for a decision? Also should I be expecting an email or a letter response.
My D was deferred too and submitted mid-year report back on 1/15. Her portal is still under review since 1/17. When we called LMU Admissions, they said all deferred apps are now treated as part of regular pool. Regular decisions are evaluated on rolling basis and will be sent no later than April 1 (by email and snail mail). D’s major though is Film Production which is very competitive, but still holding on to hope at this point.
Thanks. I’m visiting the school next week so hoping to know by then. Can I ask where you’re from? I’m from New York and thinking they might accept a lot of Cali residents first but not sure. @Shoot4DStars
@allywallace4 That’s great your visiting the campus. It’s defintely a sight to see. We’re in Southern California, just 45 minute drive from LMU. We visited actually like 2 weeks ago for the first time as my daughter wanted to make sure that LMU was worth it. She wanted the right fit of a college campus and it was. We visited the main campus first and then took a separate tour of the School of Film & TV an hour after the main tour ended. So now we’re waiting anxiously for the decision notification. I don’t know about what their acceptance rate is for OOS applicants, but you can call the school and find out. Enjoy your visit. Maybe if you both get in, you can keep in touch for potential housing roommies.

My D was deferred as well. Mid-year reports were sent 4-5 weeks ago. Portal still says under review but last night three new options appeared under System Logins. After My Paw and MyAid there is now Student Account Center, Schedule of Classes, and Lion Mail. Taking that as a good sign.
