Are many deferred still waiting? It seems like most OOS applicants are the ones still waiting. My son was deferred for Film Production – OOS and we are STILL waiting!

this is getting absolutely ridiculous!! there’s only a few days left in march and i’ve heard absolutely nothing from them.
I completely agree!! They have had my son’s grades since the beginning of February. Just made the decision! Does anyone know if the acceptance letter is just a letter or a packet??

Yes – sorry – did mean to say “just MAKE the decision”! Mail has already arrived today and NOTHING!

this is crazy; in new york doing chancellor receptions for chapman and santa cruz; would like to know before i have to spend more money on a trip to emerson; want this school but cant believ the admission process
hey all I’m also OOS ea deferred for marketing! Does anyone know if anyone was notified of being put on the wait list? I’m thinking that if they sent out rejections and acceptances already for the most part then there’s a good chance that those of us who haven’t heard yet are on the wait list. That’s a long shot guess but I’m just thinking…
My son was deferred for Film Production – his student portal was updated a few hours ago to “application denied”! No official letter yet! Kind of annoying they took this long to deny him – since they’ve had his grades since the beginning of February! Good luck to anyone accepted!
Hey guys! Still waiting over here in California. I have been deferred as a liberal arts undecided major. I’ve sent them an updated resume, a letter expressing my high intent and an updated grade report. My portal still says “application currently under review” but should I not look into that too much? It’s getting so close to April 1st and it’s so nervewracking! Would calling and asking be a good option?
@dancer9731 I too have been staring at “application currently under review” for some time now and have also sent an email regarding my interest (marketing.) I don’t think calling the university would do anything. I doubt they can tell you their decision over the phone for policy reasons. Decisions should be up anytime from tomorrow-Wednesday… we’re almost there! I have heard that people who wait this long have a high chance of making the waitlist… definitely better than a rejection, but it’s not an acceptance either… don’t take that of too much to heart because after all it’s just something I heard.
