Deferred from Northeastern and Case Western.. Is it even worth shooting for Tufts ED II?

To be honest, Northeastern and Case Western were my match school, so I was really bummed when I got deferred from both of them. If i get deferred from these schools, is it even worth applying to Tufts (reach) for ED II? Or should I just apply to Boston University for ED II

I would go for BU. I think you have a better shot there.

wow! you know what, we have so many things in common! We have very similar stats such as test score and EC’s, and I live in Maryland too. I guess you live in Baltimore County; I live in Howard County. Also I got deferred from Northeastern and Case EA as well. Just like you did, I thought applying Tufts after getting deferred from Northeastern and Case is basically a nonsense, but I applied ED2 anyway. Frankly, I already have prepared myself for a rejection letter because Tufts is becoming insanely selective these days. But who knows! I hope you get into Tufts :slight_smile:
