So today I got my Stanford REA decision and I was deferred, which surprised me a little because I thought I would automatically get rejected, so I guess I still have a chance. I also applied to Berkeley, UCLA, USC, UCSD, UCSB, UC Davis (SB and Davis said they guaranteed my admission if I applied), and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

I'm a Hispanic male (I was born Argentina (lived there for 4 months), lived in Colombia for 8 years, came to US at age 9)

I'm in a good public school in California with about 3-5 people going to Ivies/Stanford each year (so far two people were accepted to Stanford as opposed to the usual single student) and about 20-30 going to Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD
