When do we: send in our 2nd semester grades, SAT scores, receive a final decision, ect?

Sorry but what were ur stats? I think you will be sending in material in Febuary when deferred student’s materials are supposed to be out. I have not gotten a response but I’m so scared… Dx

I also got deferred from NC State which was a surprise since my stats were higher than what I read on collegeboard.com

GPA: 3.89
SATs:1790
ACT:27
4 AP classes
Took honors classes all of high school…

I was thinking maybe it’s because I’m out of state? Regardless it was a huge surprise getting deferred:( Anyone know the chances of deferred students getting in?

Is that 3.89 uw? I heard any applicant who’s gpa was below 4.6 and SAT below 1800 was automatically deferred. They also had more early applicants this year, than any other year. Hope we both get in!!

I saw in a different post that you applied for BioMed and Accounting as your majors. I feel that they would have accepted you atleast by your second choice if not your first. I’m assuming BioMedical Engineering? (Engineering is one of the tougher schools to get into.)

Thank you! I’ve read one of your posts and I think you have a great chance of getting in. Also, yesterday I received an email from State instructing me to report my first semester grades. Hopefully A’s and one B will compel them to accept me. Hope you’re accepted as well!

I’m surprised…I’m an international student and got accepted to NC state engineering. My stats are 3.17 UW GPA and 1900 SAT…not super great stats. Yet some people with higher GPAs and comparable SATs got deffered :S

I’m shocked you have been deferred because I’m out of state and with lower stats then you and was accepted.
