<p>Did you apply EA or SCEA? Is Tulane your first choice? Did you submit the “Why Tulane” essay?</p>
<p>My D was admitted, but applied SCEA and made it quite clear that Tulane was her #1. She was also recruited for the orchestra. But if Tulane truly is your first choice, I recommend you contact your admissions counselor to let him/her know and submit any supplemental materials you can to help your chances for RD. </p>
<p>There are a couple of other threads for Tulane Class of 2016 - you may want to check for more ideas there. I will tell you that my daughter applied well before the 11/15 cutoff and I have seen many other kids who applied later with higher stats reporting that they were rejected or deferred.
