So I applied back in November '08 and in December I received the letter in the mail saying I was deferred until I send them my semester grades.

Now that the semester grades are in, I plan on sending them to UCF tomorrow. I'm a Florida resident and I was wondering what is the likelihood of gaining acceptance after being deferred?

I've got a 3.1 with a 1200/1600 SAT and a 27 ACT. Tons of extracurricular, varsity football/lacrosse, etc.

And also, after I send them my updated transcript, how long will it take for them to respond?

When I sent my transcript it took 3 hours to get in, but that is not normal. I'd say that if it took a month the first time, it will take about the same this time. Good luck :)

It's got to be around 60%. Especially at this time of year with UF's decision date around the corner, UCF needs to see how many of its people are going there instead. Voila, there's tons of deferrals.

I think they should find out within a month or so of sending in mid-senior grades and new test scores. Good luck! <3

P.s. Some high school semesters ended in December, when others (like mine) end at the end of this month. So that may factor in when you find out as well.
