<p>I have been deferred from UCF (University of Central Florida) and I really don't know why. I know people who have gotten in who have lower SAT scores and a lower GPA than me so i'm confused to say the least. I got my October SAT scores back though, and I have sent those to them, so i'm wondering how long they take to make a new decision about me. Has anyone else been deferred? Or does anyone know how long it takes them to change deferrals? I really hope they dont wait for a mid year report. My grades are fine, im just anxious and want to know! It's so frustrating!!!!</p>

<p>when did you get your notice? Was it sent before UCF rec’d your Oct SAT scores?</p>
<p>Last year some kids were deferred from UCF because they wanted to see higher scores or higher grades that would get sent later.</p>

i dont think that would cause a problem for my gpa? and no when i was deferred they didnt have my october scores. do you know how long it wold take to update and possibly accept me after receiving my new scores a few days ago?</p>
<p>Collegeboard has probably already electronically sent your scores. However, you’ll need to find out if UCF has uploaded the scores into students’ files.</p>
<p>You’ll need to call and ask…or look online if UCF has that capability.</p>
<p>Obviously, your GPA isn’t a problem…so it must be your old SAT scores. Your latest scores are probably good enough.</p>

<p>ON the site, it says they have my new score. I think i am going to resend my transcripts. Cant hurt at this point. And yea, I have backups that I have gotten into, FSU is my first choice, although I’ve always thought that UCF is an easier school to get into than FSU…so I’m pretty discouraged there.
