Deferred...Heard back yesterday

<p>i agree mik87, i think all universities should send letters around April 1st b/c mid-April makes you rush to decide which college to attend. also, if i do get accepted now, it's sort of late to give a campus visit and still have time to decide as deposits are due May 1st.</p>

<p>exactly... i haven't even visited the campus yet in fear that it would be a waste! but if we do get our decisions back this week, that gives us the timespan of 2 weeks to book a visit and decide to enroll. moreover, we're at a disadvantage for financial/merit aid. and yet, oddly enough, i still love michigan so, and i can't wait to hear their reply...</p>

<p>Sometimes colleges who send late decisions will give you an extension on the deposit deadline. Of course, you'd still need to meet the deadline for your other first-choice college and risk losing your deposit there. But it's better than depositing two places, in which case you are sure to lose one deposit either way.</p>
