i talked to one of umich office ppl the other day and he said that
they are not going to review deferrals until they finish reviewing RD applicants.
Those ppl who have been accepted after defered were defered because of
missing materials from the first place.

wow so thats gna be a really long time right?

ugg oh no! but don’t we have to find out by april 1? i thought it was a rule that we need to be notified BY april 1.

loly: people last year found out they were waitlisted on April 17

“they are not going to review deferrals until they finish reviewing RD applicants.”

GAHHH -_-

so when do you think they’ll let us know if we are rejected?

You will never be rejected by UMich; they waitlist everyone who was deferred EA who they don’t accept by May…even if you withdraw your app (I’m not kidding…)

^^ seriously?!? wow! ugggg i really really really want to get in, and i truly think i’ve done every single thing possible to show that i’m really interested in the school

^^well, you may get in from a deferral (as some have done), but they will never actually reject you; they just waitlist deferrals if they don’t get in…

“You will never be rejected by UMich”

well that’s annoying.
