Deferred: Letter Of Continued Interest?

Hey guys,

I was deferred from Princeton under SCEA, and now I was thinking of sending a Letter Of Continued Interest. I’m not sure what I should do after deferral, other than this…

What exactly should I write in it? I will reiterate my love for Princeton, but should I mention specifics? I feel like it’s already covered in my essays.
I’ve included a few things I’ve done since submitting my application, but is there anything else that people generally write in these?

Also, how long do you think it should be? Mine is currently a little over a page long.

Lastly, who should I email this to? The local admission officer, or the overall Princeton admission office?

(P.S. I’m not sure what I should do after deferral, other than this… I’ve heard that people often keep in touch with the admission officers and email them frequently to show interest. Is this true?)

Thanks in advance!

Should be short and sweet. Upload on the Princeton status portal. Include recent accomplishments.

How short are we talking? 250 words or thereabouts? Anything that should be mentioned other than recent accomplishments/Princeton is still my first choice, like maybe reiterating why Princeton is really great for our interests? Also, I thought the status portal upload was only for updates, although I guess a LOCI is something of an update in itself.

The shorter the better. And the sweeter the better.

As in:

Dear Princeton Admissions,

Princeton continues to be my first choice school. I’m pleased to report that I’ve cured cancer. Please contact me if you require further information.

Sincerely,
