egweniagernilagganklrargae;

Just got in, was deferred originally. Cannot describe how excited I am.

3.45 Umich
33 ACt

OOS.

Keep the hopes up guys!
(^That doesnt even make sense)

Congrats!!!! how did ya find out? It seems as if the adcom completely forgot about me or something... did u send a midyear report? did your deferral letter ask for it?

^Yes, sent in my 7th semester grades, which the letter asked for. I found out on wolverine access.

Good luck, hope you get in

did any of you guys send in an extra letter about why you're still interested?

how would you start off a paper like that? and do you just talk about what you have done all senior year?

omegared may i ask what your 7th semester grades were?

congrats omegared!

i was initially deferred and got accepted at the end of february.

instate
ACT 33, SAT 2140
Original Umich GPA: 3.4
7th semester gpa: 3.4
UMich GPA with 7th semester factored in: still 3.4

I didn't improve my gpa so i don't know why i was accepted...but hey i'm not complaining :) My classes this year are much harder than before so maybe they just wanted to see that i could improve or maintain my gpa with more rigorous classes.

Also I did not send in any letter of interest

I worked my ass off last semester, came out with like a 3.8 UW

congrats svt!

lol my school has trimesters and i worked my ass off too
and i got 2 3.8s so far -__- hopefully... i get in..
i really want to go to michigan

i applied and they had all my stuff on Nov 14 and then i got deferred early december. The letter asked to mail my 7th semester grades when available and i did (which my 7th semester grades were the best ever 4.3 for semester) ne idea when i will know and if i have a shot at getting in? I am out of state with average and not impressive test scores but 4.0 gpa, rank 20/250 and tons of volunteer and great extracurricular stuff
