I got deferred from CALS and potentially may get a B+ in ap bio first semester.. Will that kill my chances if I email cornell an update?

And I’ve only had 2 A-s, the rest As before

From what I’ve read on here about mid-year reports, about two or three B’s won’t hurt you. Just no C’s. However, if your ultimate decision is a rejection, it probably wouldn’t because of a B+ on the mid-year. Best of luck getting in! :)

That would be my only potential b. And I still should be able to get an a-, I’m just nervous, and hope it won’t kill my chances at Cornell and other top ivies and similar!

Bump… Anyone else??

A single B in a mid-year report isn’t going to affect much, if not, at all.

If you get rejected, I’d say there were other reasons besides your GPA.

Im in a similar situation…except I got my first ever C in high school in AP Euro. 81%.

Thoughts…? Do I have ZERO chance?

^ Hard to say without any other info.

Isn’t an 81% a B-? What is a B at your school?
