Deferred. Now what?

30 is in the middle 50% range, so is 1880. I just meant that the overall average is just a bit higher (30.5, 1960 or so), but those scores are definitely in Tulane’s target area.

As far as when you will hear, it is just impossible to know or even guess intelligently, because we just don’t know how the admissions are trending other than some nebulous references like President Cowen’s statement about a 20% admit rate. I know they say things are very strong this year, but that just isn’t quantifiable data, and it certainyl tells us nothing about what kind of yield they are seeing so far, and it is still a bit early. They can model things based on the past, but that isn’t particularly precise. I wish we could help more, but I am afraid this is what some 1,000,000+ teenagers are going through at some level or another.

I was at the Admitted Students program in Philly last night and the Admin person said that the average SAT for admitted students this year was 2020 (best ever). Now to see what the average is for the enrolled class. Still to Fallenchemist’s point the easy application process seems to be working in bringing in a "better’ class. It was also very interesting that most of the admitted students were from the best schools in the Philly area- public and private.

Not sure if I will attend Tulane yet, still waiting on a couple of schools before I make final decision.

HI deferr - Thanks for that info. I hope the enrolled class shows a similar rise.

I assume W&M your first choice if you get in. It is a very fine school. I wish you the best of luck whatever your final decision. Have you had a chance to visit Tulane?
