<p>I feel MIT really doesn't want to admit me since QuestBridge is suppose to give you a boost and I didn't even get in...</p>

<p>that’s not what it means at all. and i don’t think that QB gives you a boost. i think QB gives kids the opportunity to provide additional context on low SES backgrounds. </p>
<p>more than 90% of people who apply to MIT this year are not going to be admitted. at numbers like that, it’s not you - it’s us, and the insanity of the process and how competitive it has become.</p>

Oh… in that case I probably should have just applied without QB, since the QB application was insanely long (I felt compelled to write the suggested amount of words on my essay, 800, 500, and 500). I could have said everything in their with the MIT app. Oh well, what the hell…</p>
