I know that some schools like Brown defer most early applicants who do not get in while others like Colgate denied most early applicants and only defer a few.

Brown: 22.7% accepted, 12.7% denied, 64.6% deferred (Class of 2012)

Colgate: 50.4% accepted, 39.2% denied, 8.9% deferred (Class of 2011)

Bates: 41.6% accepted, 58.4% deferred or denied (Class of 2011)

I cannot find any information on Bates early stats. Does anyone know about this? Anyone know other people who were deferred or rejected? I only know one person who applied other than me and she was deferred.
